ALBANY- John D. Magrum, "affectionately known as Pa," age 93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 19, 2022.
He was born in Buffalo, the son of the late Leo and Ethel Magrum. He was also predeceased by his wife, Margaret Magrum.
John was a hard worker. He had multiple careers throughout his lifetime and was working up until 6 months ago. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, boating and going to the casinos.
John is survived by his children: Christopher, John, Peggy Centofanti and Tere Masters; grandchildren: Shana, Stacy and Sean Magrum, AJ (Megan) and
James Centofanti, Tyler Masters, Crysta Morlock and many great grandchildren.
A Celebration of John's life will be held in the spring and will be announced by the family, followed by interment at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 4 Pine West Plaza, Albany, NY 12205.
