John C. Musto, 76, of Green Island, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2018 with his loving family by his side.

Born in Albany on June 24, 1942, John was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Fleury) Musto.

John was a graduate of Colonie Central High School. Following graduation, John worked in construction in the family business and then transitioned to The Golub Corporation where he worked in various positions in distribution until retirement.

John coached his son from the time of Carman Little League through Connie Mack. He was an avid bowler and coached his children as they competed over the years. His favorite place was in the stands or on the sidelines supporting his grandchildren at all of their events. Not only did he love the game of golf, he spent many years traveling to Myrtle Beach to play.

Survivors include his children; John C. (Erin) Musto, Jr., Jodi Musto and Melissa (Chris) O'Hara, his grandchildren; Marissa, Anthony, Zachary, Alexandra and Ashley; his sister Judy (Mike) Scaccia, as well as three nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
