GUILDERLAND – John Patrick Fenelon, 93, entered into the eternal life of Thursday, September 22, 2011. Born in Chicago, he was the son of the late Martin and Catherine Fenelon.
John was the beloved husband of Marie A. Fenelon for 60 years. He was the father of Patricia Kelly Crucetti and John (Jean) Fenelon, grandfather of Maureen (Shawn) Kelly Smith, Kathleen (Terry) Kelly, and great-grandfather of twins Taryn and Kahlan Van Vranken, and Elliana Smith.
He was predeceased by his sisters Margaret Fenelon, Catherine MacDonald, Eileen (Douglas) Linde, Mary Linnekamp, and brother Martin J. (Rosemarie) Fenelon.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Avenue, Westmere. Inurnment will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, at the family's convenience.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church or the St. Peter's Hospice Inn, 315 South Manning Boulevard, Albany, NY 12208 in John's name.
