John P. Vadney, Sr., 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at his home. John was born in Scotia, and he worked for over 37 years with Price Chopper, until his retirement. John was predeceased by his life partner of over 38 years, Mary Lou Ermides.
John is survived by his children; Debbie, John Jr., and Shannen Vadney. He is also survived by Doug (Mary) Ermides, Christine (Michael) Bezotte, Debbie (Bill) Marchewka; his Goddaughter, Natalie Marchewka and grandchildren.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, from 2 to 4 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, the Community Hospice of Albany County 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205, in John's memory.
