John P. Vigars

Colonie- John P "Jack" Vigars, 63, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Chester and Helen Vigars. Jack worked in the Pure waters Department for the Town of Colonie for a number of years until his retirement.
Jack is survived by his daughter Kellie Vigars of Albany and his two grandsons Jesse and Manuel. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Weaver, his four brothers, Chester Vigars II, Edward Vigars, Robert Vigars and Ronald Vigars, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Chapel, Sand Creek Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00 also at St. John's Lutheran Chapel. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie.
