John Pfeiffer

ALBANY- John (Jack) J. Pfeiffer, 61, of Albany, passed away suddenly on Saturday June 14, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Dolores A. Ross Pfeiffer.
Jack was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School. He was a Sergeant with the US Army during Viet Nam. Jack was employed with JJ Treffiletti & Sons Wholesale Grocers in Albany for many years. He was a member of the Sheehy-Palmer VFW Post.
He is survived by his loving fiancé, Nancy Thomson. He is the brother of Eugene (Kathleen) Pfeiffer and the late Sandy Pfeiffer. He is the cousin of Dolores (George) Morse.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:15 at Newcomer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Our Lady of Mercy Church, Colonie at 11:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.
