John M. Purcell, 81, of Albany, passed away at home on December 29, 2020
Born in Albany, October 17, 1939 he is the son of the late James and Mary Purcell.
John was a proud graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School. In addition to serving 6 years in the Army National Guard, he worked at Boyd Printing Company for over 40 years.
He was a huge history buff, coin collector and one of the original collectors of the state quarters.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Andrea Purcell, brother James Purcell, and son in law Claude Rayfield.
He is survived by his loving wife Deborah, daughters Suzanne Purcell, Leah Purcell (Jay Frink), Tricia (David) Trombley, and grandchildren, Elizabeth and Kyle Trombley.
