COLONIE- John James Quinn, 56, of Colonie, passed away on December 29, 2010 in New York City.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Bridie Quinn, and his brother Thomas Quinn. He is the devoted husband of Mimi Furbeck Quinn. He is the loving father to Monica (Joe) Costello, David Furbeck and Heath Furbeck and grandfather to Mason Costello.
Johnny is the brother of Joe (Linda) Quinn, Kathy (Lou) Faello, Francis 'Whitey' (Maryann) Quinn, Menia (Tony) DiRe. He is the proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. Johnny has many relatives of Irish descent here and abroad. Dear friend of Barbara Collen and Kevin Gribben.
Johnny will be remembered by his heartfelt laughter, his extraordinary gift of gab and compassionate nature. Johnny will be extremely missed but his spiritual presence will always shine on us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours on Saturday from 1 to 3 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, 100 Slingerlands Street, Albany, NY 12202 in memory of Johnny. Quinn.
