John R. Radigan

Rotterdam- John R. "Jack" Radigan, 85, passed away peacefully June 14, 2016 with his family by his side. He was the son of the late William and Margaret (Fennell) Radigan. Jack is survived by his loving wife Rosemary (Riviello) Radigan.
Jack was born in Green Island and grew up in Watervliet and Latham. Jack spent his career working for U.S. Air Ways as an Operations Manager. He was an avid flyer of radio controlled model airplanes and was a longtime member of the Thundervolts.
In addition to his wife Jack is survived by his two daughters, Patricia DeCaprio (Anthony) and Mary Elizabeth Garabedian (the late Bruce). Jack was a beloved Papa to, Nicholas DeCaprio, Stephen Garabedian and Kristen Garabedian, beloved brother of Carol (Donald) Igoe as well as several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 10:00am-11:00am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY 12304. A mass of Christian burial will follow the calling hour at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angel's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made online to the Lung Cancer Association (Lung.org) or the American Cancer Association (AmericanCancerFund.org).
