Clifton Park-John Richard Hodgkinson, 69, passed away at Ellis Hospital on Monday, February 09, 2015, with his loving family by his side.
John was born on March 27, 1945, in Troy, NY, to the late Albert and Mary Joan Hodgkinson. John was the president of American Chemical & Equipment Co., Co-founded by he and his partner and brother Ed Hodgkinson.
John is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Larisa Hodgkinson, his siblings; Edward (Augusta), Joan Ann (Albert) Fissette, Michele (Frederick) Kiesel, Rosemary Sorel, Danny (Mia), Debbie (Hugh) McDonald, and Michael (Nancy), his children; Felecia (Steve) Hoffman, Michelle (Chad) Kelman, Michael Hodgkinson, Nikolai Kolotiniuk, his nine grandchildren whom he adored, a host of family and friends, especially; Maggie and Joe Smith, Danny Leto, and Lenny Wescot, and many, many customers who have become friends over the years.
John is predeceased by his sister Patricia DeBenedetto.
John was a very giving person with a great heart. He was loved by everyone whose lives he touched. He will be truly missed.
A burial at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery will take place on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 9:00am.
