John Theodore Skopp, 90, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Van Rensselaer Manor with his loving family by his side.
John was the son of the late John and Delia Skopp. He was married to June Skopp for over 54 years.
John proudly served with the United States Navy.
He enjoyed playing cards, taking bus trips to different casinos and making birdhouses and wooden boats.
In addition to his parents John was predeceased his five sisters and his grandson, Kenneth J. Carcia.
John is survived by his children, Deborah (Bill) Dutko, Douglas (Joan) Skopp and Lori (John) Carcia. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue Albany, NY 12208 in John's memory.
