John M. Thomas, 80, of Schenectady, passed away on January 15, 2023 at Ellis Hospital.
He was born in Schenectady to the late John Thomas and Helen (Pryba) Miller. He proudly served in the Army from 1959-1962.
John was a car show enthusiast. He loved his dogs, "Squeaky" and Roman and he loved and adored seeing his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his siblings, Joan Ringland and David Thomas, and his nephew, Matthew Szudajski.
John is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Jean, son Gary Thomas (Lindsay) and their children Brennan and Briella, daughter Sharlene Masick (Don) and their children Nate, Hailey and Nick, daughter Cheryl Daley (Chris) and their children Collin and Kenley, and his sister Mary Callahan (Dan).
Funeral services will be private.
