SCHENECTADY- John L. Violette 89, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2018.
John was born on November 20, 1928 son of the late Firmin J. and Mary Violette in Schenectady, NY.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country as a rifleman in the 60th Regiment in WWII.
John was a devoted husband and father. He will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Carol Violette.
He is survived by son, John W. Violette (Samantha) and Harry Violette (Jennifer); and grandchildren, Michael and Ethan Violette.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 100 Kings Rd. at 10:00am.
