ALBANY-Jonelle A. Chang-Moses, 39 of Albany passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Albany Medical Center following an illness. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica and graduated from Saviour High School in Brooklyn, NY. Jonelle attended Maria College in Albany and resided in Albany for the past 17 years of her life. She was an active member of The Black Apostolate at St. Joan of Arc and St. Francis of Assisi Church. Jonelle was employed by St. Peter's Hospital as a labor and delivery technician for a few years prior to her illness.
Jonelle is the loving wife of Boykin E. Moses, Jr. of Albany, the beloved mother of Rickie Massie, Jr. of Albany, daughter of Jean Codrington Chang, of Albany, sister of Natasha Chang of Albany and is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Jonelle was predeceased by her father Edward C. Chang.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, December 28, 2012 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Albany.
Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in memory of Jonelle.
