Joseph A. Allegra Jr.

Joseph A. Allegra Jr., 78, born July 10, 1944, passed away on January 24, 2023 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Joe was a member of the Laborers Local 190 for 55 years, as well as a member of the executive board for many years in addition to the Polish American Community Center. Joe loved to travel, hunt and fish. He took great pride in his home. In his younger years he was an avid pool player and very athletic. He was also a car enthusiast and a gamer. Joe was happiest spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Joyce (Rothaupt), brothers Michael Febraio (Bootsie), and Johnny Febraio (Cathy), daughter Gina Moscatello (John), son Joe Allegra (Lisa), daughter Jennifer, 3 grandchildren, Anthony Allegra , John Michael Moscatello and Vincenza Allegra, great granddaughter Francesca Allegra as well as many sisters and brothers in laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and life long friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Rita (Verenini) Febraio, father Michael Febraio Sr. and Joseph Allegra Sr.
A visitation will be held on Saturday January 28th from 12pm-2pm with a service at 2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY.
Interment to follow in the St. Agnes Cemetery.
