Joseph C. Motto

LOUDONVILLE – Joseph C. Motto, 79, passed away quietly with his family by his side on Monday, May 16, 2011. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving his country from 1953 – 1955. Joseph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rita and their children; Paul (Peg Hopper) Motto, Leonard (Sheryl) Motto and Joseph (Mary) Motto. Joseph has seven grandchildren: Bobby, Tara, Rachel, Carli, Aaron, Jennifer, and Todd. Also surviving are five siblings: Catherine Farraone, Carmella Latham, James Motto and Rose Dyer. He was predeceased by his brother, Patsy Motto.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Stratton V.A. Medical Center, Hospice Unit, 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208 to thank them for all of their support and kindness.
