Joseph S. DePasquale, 85, of Niskayuna, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Barbara Hansen. They are now reunited.
Born December 31, 1937 in Schenectady, NY, son of the late Joseph and Rosalie DePasquale.
Joseph served in the Navy from 17-21 years old. He finished his GED, then became a self-made engineer at GE and Solar Turbines. He wrote teaching manuals for Solar.
He loved bowling and chess. But most of all, his children, Donna, Cheryl and Mary. "Grandpa Joe" had numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that filled his heart with joy.
Joseph is also survived by his brother, Frank DePasquale, and sister, Carmela Grasso.
Join us on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 9:00 am – 11:30 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. At 11:30 am, a service will be held at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Albany NY 12205.
