LATHAM - On March 1, Joseph F. Lombardo III peacefully went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving wife of 37 years, Stephanie, and his children.
Joe was born on July 20, 1954 to Charlotte and Joseph F. Lombardo, Jr. He graduated from Vincentian Institute in 1972 and SUNY Cobleskill in 1975. He was a dedicated employee to Jacoby's Appliance Parts for over 35 years and greatly appreciated all of the friendships he created during this time.
His passion for the University of North Carolina basketball and New York Giant football was surpassed only by his love for his family. He constantly put everyone ahead of himself and was involved in all of his children's activities from Boy Scouts to basketball, baseball, and lacrosse. His grandchildren were the light of his life and gave him immense joy and comfort.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie (Cerone); parents Charlotte (Evans) and Joseph F. Lombardo Jr.; children: Joseph F. IV of Stamford, CT; Cary (Brian Ashby) and grandchildren Declan, Lochlan and Rennan; Kiel (Sandra) of Tampa, FL; Ashley; brother Bruce (Eileen); sister Kimberly Spears; sister Lisa (Terrance) Allen of Wake Forest, NC; aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews; many loyal and devoted friends.
