Joseph G. Volinsky
November 15, 1949 — February 17, 2013
COLONIE – Joseph G. Volinsky, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Harold and Anna Volinsky.
Jerry, as known by family, enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved listening to country and oldies music. He loved his family dearly.
Along with his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his son, Joseph E. Volinsky, and sibling Helen Matott, Harold Volinsky, Jr., William G., John B. and Robert Sawyer, MaryAnn LaRose, Alice Jones and Theresa Haines.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph G. Volinsky, Jr., Robert J. Volinsky and John F. Volinsky; siblings Frances Ritter, Harolyn Hugebome, Clarence Sawyer and Anna Stafford; dear companion Linda VanBrabant and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville.
