Scotia-Joseph Henry Stehr, 64, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 in Accord, New York.
Joseph was born on July 14, 1951 in Albany and was the son of the late Henry and Catherine (McCoy) Stehr. Joseph was a graduate of CBA and went on to work for the New York State Energy Office and Survivors Services for 30 years until he retired.
Joseph will be remembered for his love of golf and camping, and he spent many summers at Rondout Valley Camping Resort.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Phyllis (Clarkin) Stehr; his children, Christopher (Mary) Stehr and Caitlin Stehr; two stepchildren and five grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Blanchfield; his brother, Paul Paeglow; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
