Joseph J. Judge, Sr.

COLONIE – Joseph J. Judge, Sr., 74, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in West Albany, he was the son of the late William and Josephine Judge, Sr.

Joseph served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Tri City Lanes, Clifton Park Bowl, and retired after 30 years from the Bowlers Club in Latham. Joseph enjoyed horseracing, airplanes, history and camping. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joseph was a "Jack of All Trades" and was willing to fix anything for anyone.

Along with his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his silbings Patricia Shahinian, Virginia Judge and John Judge.

He will be missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Carol M. (McGroty) Judge; children Jeanne of Niskayuna, Joseph, Jr. (Michelle) of Cary, NC, Michael of Colonie, William of Schenectady, Robert of Watervliet and David (Erin) of Colonie; grandchildren Michael, Jessica, Zachary, Liam, Ella and Diem; siblings William (Beverly) Judge, Jr., Barbara (Tony) Pharo, and Michael (Pam) Judge; In-laws Ara Shahinian and Hugo (Diane) McGroty; close cousin Martin "Sonny" (Eleanor) Campbell, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
