ALBANY – Joseph J. Willis, 76, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Henry and Katherine Willis. Joe was a chef at several local restaurants. More recently he was a crossing guard with the Albany City Schools. He enjoyed, music, movies, fishing and his computer.
Joe is the brother of Augustine Clark and the late Gene Kittle, Christopher Willis and Rose Francis. He is also survived by host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made in Joe's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Association Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
