Joseph M. Tremblay

COLONIE, NY – Joseph M. Tremblay, 81, of Colonie, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in Winooski, VT and resided in Colonie for the last forty years. After his retirement, Joe enjoyed working at his son's business. Joe was an avid NASCAR fan and attended many races with his family and friends. He enjoyed vacationing in Ormond Beach, FL and especially loved watching his grandchildren grow. Joe is the beloved husband of 60 years to Mary Tremblay. He is the devoted father of Anthony (Bernadette) Tremblay, Christine (Everett) Darnielle, Raymond (Deborah) Tremblay, Ann Marie (Thomas) O'Connor, Joseph (Mary) Tremblay, Jr., James (Peggy) Tremblay, Kathy (Ralph) Tanski and John (Michele) Tremblay. He is the brother of Lite Tremblay, Ray Tremblay, Mary Jane Woods and the late Roland Tremblay. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 10:30 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Colonie. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Peter's Cancer Care Center, 317 So.
