Joseph M. Young

SCHENECTADY- Joseph M. Young, 38, of Schenectady, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. He was born and raised in Albany. Joe was a 1987 graduate of Bishop Magin High School, Hudson Valley Community College and the College of St. Rose in 1991. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed football and baseball. Joe biggest passion was his love for his children. As a Dad, his children brought him an abundance of love and pride.
Joe is the beloved husband of Shawnie V. Young. He is the devoted son of Joseph and Margaret Klose Young. He is the cherished father of Ryan, Austyn, Mackenzie and Colin Young. He is the brother of Jeff (Lori) Young and the uncle of Jeffrey and Arianna Young. Joe is the son in law of Jesse and Wanda Lucas. He is the dear friend of Charlie Assini. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 9:00 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
