Joseph A. Nolan

Schenectady- Joseph A. Nolan, Sr., 76, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2017 at Ellis Hospital. He was the son of the late Ernest and Wanda Nolan.
Early in his life, he joined the Navy. When he came home, he found a job in the retail market and eventually managed a store. Later on in life, he dealt with antiques. He enjoyed horseracing and Saratoga. During his retirement years, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog Steve and his significant other Sandra Agrelo, who suddenly passed away on February 2, 2017.
He is survived by his children, Joseph A. Nolan, Jr., Stacy Mauceri (James), Elizabeth Nolan, Holly Nolan, and Crystal Nolan; eight grandchildren, one named Nathan who stayed at his bedside; three great-grandchildren; one aunt; several cousins; and his beloved dog, Steve.
Services will be private for close friends and family.
