Joseph Prusinski

Albany- Joseph Prusinski, 73, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born on January 6, 1945 in Albany, a son of the late Walter and Josephine Huderewicz Prusinski. A lifelong member of the area, Joe is a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in Albany. Joe has 40 years of service working for Niagara Mohawk and PSEG in Glenmont.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary Gardy Prusinski; children, Joseph (Melissa) Prusinski, Robert Prusinski & Barbara Mosher and Catherine (Robert) Igoe; brother, Stanley (Patty) Prusinski; grandchildren, John Kosa, Jr, Robert Prusinski, Matthew Prusinski, Samantha Kosa, Zackary Kosa, Ashley Prusinski, Olivia & Alexandra Prusinski; great-granddaughter, Madalynn Grant; brother-in-law, Paul (Debbie) McDermott; several nieces & nephews. Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth & Walter Prusinski and sister, Jean Prusinski.

Calling hours for Joe will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4pm until 7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, where a prayer service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 8:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30am at The Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell Street, Albany, 12208. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Albany.
