Troy- Joseph D. Smarro "JoeJoe", 63, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY,with his loving family by his side. Joseph was the son of the late Dominic and Nancy (Randio) Smarro.
Joe Joe was a loving matriach for his younger siblings,brother and uncle. Joe Joe was a member of the Sound of Heaven Church, Long Island, NY. Joe Joe loved wrestling, football and baseball with the Dodgers and Rams being his favorite teams. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his entire family and loved cooking for them.
Joe Joe is survived by his Siblings Nancy R. Smarro, Sister, Marie A. (Bruce) Turner, Ralph S. Smarro, Kimberly Smarro, Alicia M. Smarro (Jason Duncan-Fiance), Felicia M. Smarro, Matthew B. Smarro and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family would like to acknowledge and extend their gratitude to the staff at Albany Medical Center especially the CCU staff.
