Joseph Sullivan

Joseph Aloysius Sullivan, 72, of Cohoes, NY, passed away on January 31 after complications from pneumonia.

Joe was born on June 3, 1950, to James Wilson Sullivan (deceased) and Mary Elizabeth Joyce (deceased) in Albany, NY. After Joe graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1968, he went on to study Business on a scholarship at Saint Michael's College in Vermont. Joe graduated summa cum laude.

After graduating with a degree in business administration, he went on to work at O'Connor Sullivan Real Estate which started a 52-year career in real estate. If you were in real estate in the area, you knew Joe and that he was the most passionate person in the business.

In 1974, Joe met his wife, Joanne Murphy, at The Down Under in Latham. Joe and Joanne were married for 47 years and had 3 children, Aileen, Sam, and Joe.

Joe is survived by his wife, Joanne; his brother, Jim; his children, Aileen Murphy (Ed Jesmain), Sam Sullivan, and Joe Sullivan (Kelly Sullivan); as well as several grandchildren.
