SCHENECTADY - Joseph E. Vivian, 92, of Rotterdam, NY passed away on December 23, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at home.
Joe was a lifetime resident of both Woodlawn and Rotterdam. Joe a former teamster, loved driving trucks. He did so until he retired in his late 80's. His unparalled work ethic was admired by all. He was also an avid racing fan, loving Nascar and local stockcar circuits.
Joe is survived by his son Joseph Vivian, Jr (Diane), daughters Mary Lowery, and Susan Rubino (Mark). He also is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, that will miss him dearly.
He was predeceased by his wife Esther, and his daughters Donna and Darlene.
Per his request, burial services will be private.
