Joseph W. Hauser, Iii

COLONIE, NY – Joseph W. Hauser, III, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, May 29, 2008. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Joseph W. Hauser, Jr. and Florence E. Barlow Hauser. Mr. Hauser was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Viet Nam War. He was currently employed at the Watervliet Arsenal where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Knight's of St. John, was a volunteer firefighter for the Stanford Heights Fire Dept. and an avid golfer. Joseph is the beloved husband of nearly 35 years to Carmella Hauser. He is the devoted father of Stacey Paolino and her husband, Michael and Trisha Homer and her husband, Joshua. Joseph is the loving grandfather of Jacob and Luke Paolino and Kylie Homer. He is the brother of Margaret Hunter, Mary Reedy and the late Joanne Stokes.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center, 43 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Joseph W. Hauser, III.
