COLONIE – Josephine Brown, 84, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Josephine was born on February 19, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA and was the daughter of the late Francis and Immaculate Gallo Frascatore.
Josephine enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing cards and was a NY Yankees fan.
Josephine is survived by her sister, Mary Bobiack of Pittsburgh, PA; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Brown; her son, Jay Brown; her sister, Louise Ghilani and her brother, Frank Frascatore.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jay Brown's Scholarship Fund, 100 Hackett Ave., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Josephine Brown.
