ALBANY- Josephine Fusco, 83, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 16, 2010 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Naples, Italy and was the daughter of the late Antimo and Maria Papale. Josephine had worked for over twenty five years with New York State Office of General Services. She enjoyed crocheting, flowers and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Fusco, her daughter Rose Sforza and her son Anthony Fusco.
Josephine is the beloved mother of Andrew Fusco (Maureen O'Brien) and Mary (Bob) Piparo. She is the sister of Christina Bellone, Joseph Papale, Maria Rivers and Jennie Couch. She is the grandmother of Nadine Sforza, Demetria Moshimer and Robert Piparo Jr. Greta grandmother of Lane Moshimer. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning at 9:30 at All Saints Catholic Church, (formerly St. Margaret Mary). There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Josephine Fusco.
