ALBANY – Josephine LaMountain, 72, passed away on Sunday April 17, 2005 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Josephine was born on March 14, 1933 in North Nassau, NY to the late Frank and Mary Diggle Radley.
Josephine worked as a baker's helper for Freihofer's in Albany for 38 years, before retiring in 1995. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, needlework, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Josephine is survived by her son, Timothy W. (Helen) LaMountain; her daughter, Constance L. (Michael) Miller; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Kimberly, Matthew and Joseph LaMountain, Christopher Weidman, Crystal Miller and Michael Miller Jr.; a sister, Edna (Roy) Herrington; brothers, Henry Radley and Louis "Bill" Radley, a host of nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Missy.
She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Stillman, Eleanor Snyder and Jenny Allen and brothers Frank Radley Jr. and Howard Radley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
