ALBANY - Josephine K. Michalski, 97, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the Teresian House, surrounded by her loving family.
Josephine was born on July 17, 1911 in Amsterdam, NY and was the daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Moskal) Klebonis. She was the wife of the late Joseph Michalski.
Josephine is survived by her children, Carol M. Cascio of Niskayuna, Paula M. Carmody of Briarcliff Manor, Daniel J. (Suzanne) Michalski of Rochester and David L. (Kathy) Michalski of Latham; her grandchildren, Marc, Michael and Cynthia Cascio, Maureen Chimento, Christopher, Terrance and Leigh Carmody, Zane Michalski, Kim Kelley and John Michalski and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House. A calling hour will precede the mass from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Teresian House. Entombment St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church Food Pantry, 33 Walter St., Albany, NY 12204 or to the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Josephine K. Michalski.
