Josephine "Peggy" Morris – Farmer Josephine Farmer, departed from this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 peacefully at her home after a long illness and entered in eternity to be with the lord surrounded by those who loved her.

was born on October 2, 1934 in Emanuel County, GA to Ellie Mae Watkins and Joe Morris. She was the second oldest of four children.

She was married to James "Bucky" Farmer and together they had 5 children.

Josephine was educated in the Poughkeepsie School District. She was employed at Vicky's Coat Factory (Newburgh, NY) for over 10 years. She was also a homemaker (Albany, NY) where she retired. She was a member of the "Old Timers" and Pops, Pets and Pals. She loved BINGO and traveling.

Josephine loved everyone and especially her family unconditionally. She was an extraordinary woman, a combination of many things. She was compassionate in her actions, a woman with attitude, a woman with style and with grace. Her intentions were always for the best.

Josephine leaves to cherish her memories, her sister Anna (William) Chapman, brother Wilson Morris. Five beautiful daughters Jen Ella Farmer, Wanda (Ian) Dickson, Sheila Farmer, Jamie Farmer, Yolanda (Bruce) Farmer. She also leaves her Grandchildren: Gilbert "Darnell" (Latana) Stevens, Dawon Brunson, Malik Farmer, Joseph Farmer, Nicole (Quentin) Chandler, Tyland Brunson, Wister "Jamel" Farmer, Octavia (Claude) Dunbar, Michael (Joyce) McDonald, James "Dontay" Farmer and Lamont Williams. Great-Grandchildren: Octavian Stevens, Tatiana Stevens, Jayvon Stevens, London Stevens, Carter Stevens, Zionna Brunson, Zavion Brunson, Trevell Farmer, Kami Farmer, Mylay Farmer Zaire Pullman, Zarcre Bellamy, Quimoni Chandler, Qesciyh Chandler, Semaj Farmer, James Farmer Jr., Ijavion Desir, Kha-Davier Farmer, Deondre McDonald, Gabrielle McDonald, Andraya McDonald. A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her parents Ellie Mae & Joe, her husband James "Bucky" Farmer, her brother Lindsey Morris and her 3 sons Franklin Farmer, Thaddeus & Baran.

She will be truly missed.

Social distancing must be observed in our chapels. Gathering size will be based on the current NYS guidelines. Masks must be worn.
