Josephine Taylor

West Albany- Josephine Melucci Taylor, 83 of West Albany, passed away on Tuesday August 2005 after a long illness. She was born January 5, 1922 to the late Salvatore and Rose Colonno Melucci.
Josephine had worked as a sales associate with several retail outlets throughout the Capital Region. She enjoyed shopping, entertaining, playing her numbers, listening to the radio, spending time with her grandchildren and basking in the joy of the holiday season, especially Christmas. Josephine will be remembered by all who knew her for her big smile and even bigger heart.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Taylor Sr., her brother Michael Melucci and her sister, Mary Dasiukiewicz.
She is survived by her cherished sons, Arthur Taylor Jr and his wife Andrea, Kent Taylor and his wife Joanne. She is the beloved sister of Angeline Sickles, Daniel, James, and Salvatore Melucci. Josephine is the cherished grandmother of Allison, Stacy, Melissa, Jenna, Brandon and Jessica Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Francis de Sales Church, Maria Drive at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery.
