Joshua Nissim Ishak

Joshua Nissim Ishak, 29, of Speigletown, New York, died on June 2, 2020. Joshua was born on January 4, 1991 at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY, son of Ivette Cortez-Wisdom and stepson of Gary Wisdom.

Joshua attended the Cohoes City School in Cohoes, NY. Joshua enjoyed landscaping as a trade. Joshua enjoyed spending time at his grandmother's camp in Ellenville, NY, Joshua loved his grandmother and had a beautiful loving relationship with her. Joshua enjoyed many things especially outdoors including; paintball, quad, dirt bikes, motorcycles. Joshua enjoyed and loved spending time with his children, Cameron and Aubree. Joshua had a great sense of humor and his laughter was contagious. Joshua had many friends and touched many lives, always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Joshua loved without measure.

Joshua is survived by his mother, Ivette (Gary) Cortez-Wisdom of Troy; younger, brothers Steven Rowell of Utica, NY and Garfield Jr. of Florida. Grandparents Isabel Velez and Christopher Gutierrez of Bronx, NY. Godparents Herlie Velez of New Jersey and Jeanette Iglesias of New Jersey. Leaving behind his children which Joshua loved and adored, Cameron James M Ishak of Cohoes, NY and Aubree Mae Ishak of Waterford, NY. Joshua was loved and leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Joshua is to be reminded as a loving young man who loved family and friends.

Services are private but the family will make it available through ZOOM and Facebook.
