Joyce J. Diamond, 70, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, at her home on Friday, Jun 28, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jun 08, 1943 in Schenectady, NY to the late Joseph and Joan Szuba.
Joyce loved to take cruises with her friends and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents Joyce is survived by her beloved children, Wendy (Edward) Davis, Roger (Barb) Diamond and Robert Diamond. She is also survived by her sister Janet Szuba and her adored grandchildren, Jessica Davis, Jared Davis and Peter Diamond and her cherished canine companion, Bella.
The family would like to thank Schenectady County Hospice for all the care given to Joyce.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady County 1411 Union Street Schenectady, NY 12308 in Joyce's memory.
Funeral service for Joyce will be Monday, Jul 01, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
