Joyce M. Hughes

Latham- Joyce M. Hughes, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Nick and Sylvia Camerato. Joyce was the devoted wife to Neil G. Hughes. They were married 32 years.

Joyce enjoyed spending her time traveling to the Caribbean, Atlantic City, and Congress park in Saratoga Springs, New York with Neil. She loved going to the casino and playing the slots.

In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by her son; James (Beth) Burniche, of North Carolina; sister; Lois Blake; step-children; Kelly (Jeffery Barcomb) Hughes and Michael Hughes, both of Latham, New York; grandchildren; Nathaniel Burniche, Shelby Sarraino and Connor Hughes; dearest friends; Marie Guttridge friends for 73 years, Dawn Giroux and Judy Facteau; and several nieces.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Wednesday August 11, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with prayers to follow at 3:00 pm.
