Joyce Mischitelli

Colonie- Joyce Mischitelli, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her home. She was born November 9, 1933 in Albany to the late William and Genevieve Matthews.

Joyce was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She loved to travel with her husband especially to Las Vegas. Joyce loved spending time with her family, enjoying yearly vacations together in New Jersey.

Joyce is predeceased by her sisters, Beverly Matthews and Judy Faron.

Joyce is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Ralph Mischitelli, Sr.; her children, Wayne Ragone, Cindy, Annette Lecuyer, Ralph Jr., Todd (Nancy), and Jennifer (Ed) Serian; her grandchildren, Jason, Mitchell, and Brent Lecuyer, Donny Mischitelli, Brandon Mischitelli and Zachary Valentina, and Megan and Bryan Serian; and her great-grandsons, Tyler and Chase Lecuyer.

The family would like to thank Teona Pinn for her unwavering care given to Joyce and her family over the last few years.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 11am-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A funeral service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
