Joyce Cecelia Polsinelli (Carlin)

Colonie~Joyce Cecelia Carlin (Polsinelli) of 11 Woolard Avenue in Colonie, NY daughter of the late John K. Carlin and Margaret (Martis) Carlin of Colonie, NY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20th, 2021.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Albany NY where she graduated from Our Lady of Angels School and later lived in Schenectady, NY where she worked for the Schenectady School District for over 30 years.

She is survived by her three children: Tracy J. Demarest (Scott) of FL, Kelly M. Rodriguez (Raymond) of MA and Daniel P. Benedetto of NY. Grandchildren: Duke D. Demarest, Tessa T. Demarest, Rayna M. Rodriguez, Giana M. Benedetto and Daniel J. Benedetto.

Joyce truly enjoyed working with her special needs kids as a Paraprofessional at Schenectady High School and was loved by all of her students and colleagues. She retired in 2016 and enjoyed spending as much time with her family as possible, especially during the holidays where she would pride herself in the wonderful festive dinners she would prepare.

Her warm smile and beautiful heart will be missed by all who love her.
