Juan Bermudez

ALBANY - Juan "John" Bermudez, 63, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on May 6, 1943 and was the son of the late Cleoffe and Maria Bermudez. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Antonio and Hector Bermudez. Juan worked as a chef for many years before retiring.
Juan is survived by his beloved wife, Sonja Bermudez of Albany; his four cherised children, Maria Baker (Douglas) of Troy, John Bermudez (Vincenza) of Latham, Mark Bermudez of Slingerlands and Christopher Bermudez of Albany. Proud grandfather of A.J. Nead, Kelsey Bohl and Giovanna Bermudez. He is also survived by his brothers, Martin Bermudez (Kathy) of Hilton, NY, Ralph Bermudez of Puerto Rico, Miguel A. Bermudez (Dalia) of Rochester and Miguel Bermudez of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central). Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
