Juanita Richardson

ALBANY - Juanita Richardson, 81, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 23, 1930, in Armstrong, Alabama, she was the wife of the late Stoney Richardson Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory eight children, Lorenda Harris of Atlanta GA, Catherine, Frances, Stoney Jr., John, Eddie, Elvis and Melvin Richardson, all of Albany; Two sisters, Mary (Willie) Dickerson, Union Springs, Ala., Leola (Tommy) Washington, Pontiac, Mich.; Brother, Matthew Harris, Haines City, Fla.; Also surviving are her 35 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three children, Katie Macon, Matthew Gene and Annie Richardson; 7 sisters and 5 brothers. The family would like to send a special thank you to St. Peter's Hospice for all of their support. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 441 Washington Ave., Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
