Juanita Rios

Latham- Juanita Rios, 93, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Justa Ruiz. Juanita was the devoted wife to the late Francisco Rios. They were married 66 beautiful years.

Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs, reading, boating, and all things dessert. She was a caring daughter, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also the family's matriarch. When her family asked for guidance, she already knew the answers they needed. She was everything to everyone.

Juanita is survived by her daughters, Nilda (Rios) Rapalo, and Zandra Rios-Rivera; her son-in-law, Luis Rapalo; her grandchildren, Francisco P. Rios, Vanessa Rivera, Daniel Rivera, Francisco R. Rapalo, and Martha Rapalo; and her great-granddaughter, Chloe Taylor, and great-grandson, Oliver A. Rapalo.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a service to immediately follow at 10am. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, New York.
