COLONIE – Judith A. Jesco, 64, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Kapp. Judi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who always put her family first. She elected to stay at home to care for her grandchildren until they went to school. Judi was a loving, selfless, beautiful soul, an inspiration to all, and a mother to anyone in need. She enjoyed working for New York Oncology Hematology where she had a special relationship with all of the patients she came in contact with, knowing each one by name. She loved gardening, the ocean and was an avid reader. Judi married her high school sweetheart and dearest love of forty-five years, Daniel A. Jesco, Jr. She is the devoted mother of Daniel A. (Marianne) Jesco III, Jennifer (Rick Gibson) Harkness, Gregory (Analisa) Jesco, Christopher Jesco and Jerilyn (Matthew) Hans. Judi is the cherished grandmother of Morgan, Austin, Billy, Taylor, Elijah, Gabriel and Matthew Jr. She is the loving sister of Patricia (Ken) Rau and the late Michael Kapp. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Marjorie Dwyer, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 63 Mountainview Ave., Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Capital District Cancer Resource Foundation, 1003 Loudon Rd., P.O.
