BRAINARD, NY - Judith "Judy" Anne Whelan Lind, 75, passed away on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at her home in Brainard, NY, surrounded by her loving family.
Judy was born on September 14, 1938 in Hartford, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Elliot and June Whelan. Her favorite pastime was talking with her beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; Judy was a wonderful and gifted painter, her favorite hobby was painting landscapes and other outdoor scenic views.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gary Richard Lind, who went to join our Lord in 1995, her parents Elliot and June Whelan, her sister Nancy and her brother Larry, and her grandson Corey.
Judy is survived by her 8 children, 16 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren: daughter Cindy Estelle and husband Michael of Toms River NJ, son Dan Lind and wife Bevis of New Lebanon NY, daughter Alyson Pachecano and husband Rich of San Antonio TX, daughter Susan Cairns and husband Kevin of Jackson NJ, daughter Dana Fiore and husband Dominic of Jackson NJ, daughter Debbie Lind of Jackson NJ, son Steven Lind and wife Diane of Jackson NJ, and daughter Tracy Bingham and husband Gary, with whom she resided in Brainard NY.
Surviving grandchildren are Jeremy Julian and wife Michelle and their three children of Irvine CA, Jen Santini and husband Luciano and their three children of Lancaster CA , Bobby Sadler and wife Danielle and their two children of San Antonio TX, Andrea Sadler and husband James and their son of San Antonio TX, Gary Sadler of San Antonio TX, Grace Cairns and Olivia Cairns of Jackson NJ, Brian Larson, Eric Larson, and Anthony Fiore of Jackson NJ, Stephanie Lind and her daughter of Jackson NJ, Madison Simmons of Jackson NJ, Steven Lind Jr. and Mary Lind of Jackson NJ, Gary Bingham Jr., and Justin Bingham of Brainard NY.
Judy is also survived by sisters, Leslie Brigham and Debbie Whelan and by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A private service is planned.
