Judith A. Tiernan

COLONIE – Judith A. Tiernan, 74, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 after a long and courageous battle. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace Davies. Judy had lived in Colonie for most of her life. She liked gardening, cooking and scrap booking. She especially enjoyed taking care of her home and family.

Judy is the beloved wife of 56 years to William J. Tiernan, Jr. She is the devoted mother of Sandra Menzer, Kim Patrick and Kevin Tiernan. Judy is the loving sister of Lorraine Fisher and Helen Espey. She is the cherished grandmother of Todd Patrick, Amy D. Patrick and Shaun Menzer. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
