Judith A. Wark

Judith A. (Benedetto) Wark, 72, On October 6, 2013, we lost a very precious person, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Judy was born in Albany to the late Benjamin and Matilda (Barnett) Benedetto. She worked for 30 years with Ryder Truck Rental until her retirement and then continued to work for 15 years with Milliman in Albany. She was known for her sense of humor and her positive outlook. Judy enjoyed needle work and treasured the time she spent with her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Paul T. Benedetto, her sister, Shirley J. Bilbee, and her nephew, Joseph P. Perrego, Jr.

Judy is survived by her beloved children: CSM Richard A. Jr. (Cathy), Michael T. (Marie), Karen L. (John) Plekan, Nancy (Rick Cure) Cardella and Cynthia (Jason) Huett. She is the cherished grandmother of: Marc (Colleen), David Jr., Elizabeth, Richard III, SPC Kristopher, Bethanie, Joshua, Sabrina, Megan, Michael, Joanne (Gus) and Daniel (Stacy). She is the adored great grandmother of Tallon and Robert: sister of Kathleen M. Perrego and Stephen A. Benedetto. Judy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in Judy's memory.

Funeral Services will be Thursday at 8:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie and then to St. Ambrose Church, Latham where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

She will always be in our hearts.
