SCHENECTADY – Judith A. Carota, 78, passed away on June 23, 2022 after a brief illness.
She was born in Port Henry on September 7, 1943 a daughter of the late Rollin T. and Rosemond T. (Rondeau) Slattery. Judy attended local schools in Port Henry and graduated from St. Patrick's High School.
She worked for several years in the Head Start Program in Schenectady, but her main job was being a homemaker and caring for her family was her expertise.
Judy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was the times spent camping and fishing with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gene and her four brothers.
Judy is survived by her children, Gina (Michael), Therese (Skip) and Gene (Holly); her deeply beloved grandchildren, James (Kay), Matthew (Abby), Michelle (Case) Joshua, Sydney, Gabriella and Emily; her great grandchildren, Madison and David; her 2 sisters, Aileen and Patricia and her extended family members.
Services are private. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of New Comer Cremations and Funerals, Colonie.
