Judith Foley

WESTMERE-Judith A. Foley, 66, of Westmere, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday May 16, 2006 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Edgar S. Walsh and Jean Weir. Judy was a breast cancer survivor. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Foley in 1993. Judy and Ed enjoyed many happy years with their family as fishing enthusiasts. She had a passion for gardening and was an avid reader.
She is the beloved mother of Edward (Debbie) Foley, Robert Foley, Suzanne (Scott) DeLong, Joseph (Ellen) Foley, Kathleen (Jim) Meier and Jennifer ( Daniel) Macchiarella. She is the sister of Diane (Jim) Busick, Susan (Joseph) Bogdanowicz and Edward (Debra) Walsh. She is the cherished grandmother of Megan and Shane Foley; Taylor DeLong, Lauren, Joseph and Kara Foley; Shannon, Andrea, Jenna and James Meier; Madison and Daniel Macchiarella.
She is also survived by several brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 8:15 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). then to Christ the King Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 5:30 pm for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
